Lust-List for June 2013

Ahh! June is here, and it's no surprise I am already lusting for new items! 

First on my list are the beautiful Chanel espadrilles! These nude & black flats are the neutral shoe for any outfit! I can picture them paired with denim high-waisted shorts, a white tank + a black moto jacket <3 Even though my budget can't compete with these beauts, a girl can still dream right?! 

My next lust consists of a piece by the one-and-only Ms. Betsey Johnson.    Not I only do I adore her quirky look,  I also worship the fact the she shares the sam obsession I do for animal print! So when I saw this beautiful trench hanging in Nordstrom, I knew it was meant to be! 

Last but not least is a jaw-dropping shift dress from the iconic Dianne Von Furstenburg! This is a perfect "going-out" dress for summer! It is lightweight in fabric for the those hot day and nights, but also light-hearted with it's pink + orange ombre. Kind of reminiscent of a summer sunset!

I woke up today feeling great, but too lazy to put my contacts in ;) I decided today's outfit would be planned around my new, BEAUTIFUL, Oakley Cloverleaf Glasses. These glasses are great, because they are most definitely in style & also make an outdated looks, updated. To play along with the 'chic' aspect of the outfit, I paired a sleek white chiffon blouse with an earthy- green statement necklace! This look is perfect for work, or an office meeting. However, I happened to wear it to church! Whatever inspires you, wear it!

Captivating In Cannes - Cannes Film Festival

CANNES FILM FESTIVAL 2013

If your like most people, you didn't get to attend the Cannes Film, and were camped out my your computer, gazing at every jaw dropping dress, suit, and jumper! I hand-picked a few of my favorite looks out of many this year. First is the beautiful Jessica Biel looking luxe in stunning high-low Elie Saab gown accompanied by a trendy snake necklace.  Next, is the up and coming it girl, Jennifer Lawrence. The "Hunger-Games" star donned an elegant gown by Christian Dior, pair with a bright fuchsia lip, this look was sure to be a 'block-buster'. After that comes the infamous Cara Delevingne, the next 'kate moss' sported a sexy. sheer lace Burberry gown. Rumor has it that she snubbed Leo Dicaprio that night! Is she crazy? Doutzen Kroes glided gracefully on the red carpet in a dazzling emerald gown, made by Elie Saab! Last but not least, is Rosario Dawson. She looked spectacularly classy Marchesa gown dripping in gold, the bold puffy shoulders on this piece make it very memorable! All in all this film festival was a celebrity studded, fashion friendly event, If only I could of attended! I'll keep dreaming... :)

M I N T - M A D N E S S / Jeffrey Campbell Edition

I recently was honored to be asked to be a bridesmaid, in my all time favorite cousin's wedding! First she wanted us to pick our own shoes to add variety. 

However, two weeks away from the wedding we are getting down to the wire and excitement is setting in! She finally decided on the shoe she wanted all the bridesmaid's to wear! 

These beauties made by the all powerful Jeffrey Campbell, are cute functional, but most importantly, comfortable! This mint green complements well with her color scheme of: poppy, marigold, pewter, carnation,and petal. All and all, I am dying of excitement for this wedding! I mean come on, who doesn't love free food, dancing, music, and being with the ones you love? Perfection!

Kate Spade - Live Colorfully Perfume

I have nothing but good things to say about this fun and flirtatious scent.  I first smelled the bright florals, citrus, and musk at the makeup counter, where one of the artists working on me told me it was Kate Spade.  I catapulted out of my seat to the fragrance section!  Even though the scent is a bit pricey at $75.00 for 1.7 oz. or $95.00 for 3.7 oz.; I believe this fragrance is well worth you hard earned dollars!

M.A.C. Candy Yum Yum Lipstick 

I'd had heard lots of rave reviews for this new lipstick from M.A.C., so I just HAD to try it for myself girls! All I have to say is - it doesn't

disappoint. I myself, am a big fan of bright lipstick - it brightens the eyes. So, naturally when I tried this dangerously pink color on, I was in heaven. Another thing I love about this lipstick is that it is mostly a matte lipstick, however, it glides on like velvet. Most importantly, it won't dry you out!

My name is Hannah Moore. Middle name is Ruth which I get totes embarrassed about! I was born in Tennessee and raised for the majority of my life in Indiana. Despite my southern/mid-western roots, there has always been something engulfed in my soul, that particular thing being, Fashion.   

 DREAMS & ASPIRATIONS 

Ever since I was a little girl, fashion & beauty sparked my interest. I would get in trouble for crawling out bed late at night to play dress-up; or caught red handed when using mom's red lipstick! I think my whole family knew from an early time that I was destined to be in the fashion realm. Presently my dreams & aspirations are vast, however I aspire to become an Art Director for a big fashion magazine in the big apple! It would be fantastic to portray my creative abilities through fashion and beauty, the very things that I love.

WHERE I'M AT NOW

I currently reside in Southern California/Orange County. I love the change of pace here - and of course that I get to dress up everyday and not get glanced at like i'm crazy! (it's and Indiana thing). I am currently interning for Fashion Marketing at Socialbliss.com a hautespot for style! Although I am not in school I am weighing my options! 

 WHY BLOG? 

My reason for blogging is simple, my love of fashion.  My goal is to portray visually and verbally, fashion and all that inspires it! I want the world to embrace the culture.
