I finally arrived to New York city yesterday just in time for my my birthday, and some retail therapy.
I started in SoHo and ended up in the East and West villages. The East and West villages are considered the 'hip' areas of New York. For a girl who loves shopping at unknown stores, this is heaven on earth. The paved streets are lined with never-ending blocks of exquisite boutiques that you probably have never heard of. However there are some well known brands along the path. I happened to come across one of my very favorite designer's store, Christian Siriano. I wasn't surprised to see how darling and sweet the stores interior was. As soon as step in the door there's a feeling of being somewhere important. The colors are soft pastels, however the space has edgy upgrades. The zebra rug adds texture and also a bold print to contrast the soft colors. The extravagant chandelier, dazzling from the ceiling really just sets the mood. To top it off the store offers Mimosas to quench your thirst while doing some extreme shopping. This store is definitely a sanctuary for girls everywhere!

I love the shoes!
